The article highlights the long-term results of the study of ontogeny of bushes of different families. The authors suggest eco-biological and adaptive-economic principles of plant selection based on the experimental introduction of materials. The article outlines ways to adapt to different edaphic conditions. The issues of the practical use of multipurpose shrubs (fruit, medicinal, honey, nitrogen-fixing, forage). A variety of shrubs for different categories and types of pasture are presented.
