Genetic correlations of a person’s aggression: literature review

Twin analysis showed that the genetic component of aggression is around 50%. At the same time, due to the complex behavioral nature of aggression it is not reasonable to expect that variability in one or a few genes can define all its aspects. The articles dwells on the main genetic correlations of a person’s aggression that are known at present. The presented data shows that certain genes that are considered as candidates for the connection with aggression can be the plasticity genes that can explain the variability of the feature in similar genotypes.
