Geochemical studies in city ecosystems characterize the results of continuous operation of pollution sources, transit and accumulation environment. An important parameter of ecosystems is filling velocity in accumulation environment, which could change from decades for soils to months for snow cover and hours or days for aerosols in the city atmosphere. Heavy metals and substances able to turnover present a particular interest for research.
