The new technics based on twig modules – three-year-old twig systems of new generative species has been developed to create architectural modelin species Salix. To process a great number of twig modules in the crowns of willow species the use of formulas and schemes of twigs arrangement is suggested. This technique allows discovering the differences between architectural types depending on crown light conditions as well as gender features of Salix species.This technique can be used to study not only the architectonics of crowns in the genus Salix, and other tree species. The authors point out 2 architectural models.
